Russian forces launched 934 attacks on 52 settlements across Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, leaving eight people injured in the city of Zaporizhzhia and nearby areas.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said the large-scale assault included 30 airstrikes targeting multiple communities across the region, The Caspian Post reports via Mezha.

Among the locations hit were Zaporizhzhia, Novomykolaivka, Lyubitske, Tavriiske, Zirnytsia, Maryanivka, Listivka, Orikhove, Mykilske, Omelnik, Shyrokyi, Pidhirne, Danylivka, Yehorivka, Tymoshivka, Svoboda and Chervony Yar.

The latest wave of attacks is part of Russia's continued campaign of strikes on frontline regions in southern Ukraine, where repeated shelling and air raids have caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure and ongoing security concerns.
