Russia Prevents Mass Killing Plot by 12-Year-Old

The police officers in Ulan-Ude, Russia, thwarted a 12-year-old student’s plan to attack and kill classmates in 2026.

Oleg Kudinov, Minister of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Buryatia, announced the prevention during a session of the People’s Khural of Buryatia, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

“This year, in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Ulan-Ude, we stopped a 12-year-old from preparing to murder his peers,” Kudinov said.

A criminal case has been opened under Articles 30 (preparation and attempt of a crime) and 105 (murder) of the Russian Criminal Code.
