Russia’s Barrage on Ukraine Leaves Several Injured

Russia has unleashed a record-scale drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, triggering nationwide air raid alerts as Kyiv prepares for talks with the US.

Ukrainian officials noted that Moscow launched 653 drones and 51 missiles, marking one of the largest attacks since the war began, The Caspian Post reports via foreign media.

Ukraine’s air force reported that its defenses managed to shoot down 585 drones and 30 missiles, but strikes still hit 29 locations across the country, leaving at least eight people injured, including three in Kyiv.

“There have also been strikes on industrial facilities and residential buildings in the Kyiv region,” Zelenskyy wrote on X, adding that “The Dnipro, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Lviv, Volyn, and Mykolaiv regions were also affected”.
