Russian forces launched a strike on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia city, damaging industrial and residential areas.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said that the attack occurred during an air raid alert, and residents were advised to remain in shelters until the all-clear, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.
The blast wave affected several private homes, and emergency teams are assessing the damage.
Preliminary reports indicate no fatalities, though one woman required medical attention and was hospitalized. Authorities are still clarifying casualty details.
The strike is part of heightened overnight attacks across Ukraine, with explosions also reported in Odesa. Officials warned of ballistic missile threats in southern, northern, and eastern regions. Air defence forces intercepted most incoming threats, though some impacts were unavoidable.
