Russian Airstrikes Hit Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia, Injuring 19 and Damaging Dozens of Buildings

Russian forces have carried out 11 air strikes on the city of Zaporizhzhia, leaving widespread destruction across residential areas.

According to early estimates, 31 high-rise buildings, 20 private homes, and several pieces of critical infrastructure were damaged, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

At least 19 people were injured - including 12 women - as emergency crews worked through the night.

Local authorities say the situation remains tense. The governor noted that Zaporizhzhia has come under attack 771 times in the past 24 hours alone, underscoring a sharp escalation in strikes targeting the area.
