Russian FM: European Leaders Present No Constructive Solutions on Ukraine During Washington Visit

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated that European leaders offered no constructive solutions for the Ukraine crisis during their recent Washington visit.

Lavrov made the remarks at a press conference, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

"So far, we are seeing only a fairly aggressive escalation of the situation and attempts to influence the position of the US President Donald Trump," Lavrov stated.

He added that this approach from European leaders was evident during their August 18 meeting in Washington.

"We did not hear any constructive ideas from the Europeans there," Lavrov emphasized.
