On August 20, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov met with Saida Mirziyoyeva, the head of the presidential administration of Uzbekistan.
The Kyrgyz presidential press service reported that during the meeting, topical issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including in strengthening cultural, humanitarian and educational ties between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports citing Kabar.
The head of state noted that thanks to joint efforts with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations continue to develop and strengthen in the spirit of strategic partnership.
Saida Mirziyoyeva thanked the Kyrgyz side for the warm welcome and conveyed greetings and best wishes from the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to President Sadyr Zhaparov.
The head of the presidential administration of Uzbekistan, emphasizing the high level of interstate relations based on mutual respect and good neighborliness, noted the important role of the leaders of the two countries in this process.
Noting the importance of developing youth policy, Saida Mirziyoyeva spoke about the intellectual game "Zakovat" held in Bishkek, which has already become a symbol of team spirit and the establishment of friendly relations between the youth of the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, President Sadyr Zhaparov wished the head of the presidential administration of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva great success in her responsible state activities.
