The 11th Meeting of the Working Group on Media and Information of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with the participation of ministers, representatives, and high-ranking officials from OTS member states.
The participants discussed measures to implement the initiatives put forward by the heads of state of the Organization during high-level events and prospects for cooperation, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
In the afternoon, a media forum was held with media experts, representatives of news agencies, media, and responsible officials of the OTS member states. Reports were heard on the current state and prospects of cooperation between the OTS member states in the information sphere.
Success in the fight against disinformation were noted, and existing problems and their solutions and issues of enhancing cooperation were discussed.
