An Azimuth Airlines flight operating from Moscow to Tbilisi was forced to make an emergency landing at Volgograd International Airport due to a passenger’s sudden health deterioration, according to the press service of Volgograd International Airport, The Caspian Post reports, citing TASS.
The press service clarified that the aircraft was in the process of preparing for takeoff at the time of the incident.
The regional health committee also informed that an ambulance team arrived at the airport promptly, in full compliance with all established regulations.
