Equipment for US President Donald Trump's upcoming visit to Türkiye is already in Ankara, with Turkish media showing footage of parts of the presidential motorcade and helicopter being unloaded from a US military transport aircraft.

The equipment was flown to the Turkish capital as part of extensive security and logistical preparations for Trump's participation in the upcoming NATO Summit, The Caspian Post reports via Cumhuriyet.

Turkish Presidency's Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran said Ankara attaches great importance to the US president's visit.

He noted that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Trump are expected to discuss a broad range of bilateral issues during their meeting on the sidelines of the summit, including key regional and strategic matters.
