Turkish Airlines to Acquire 26% Stake in Air Europa for 300 Million Euros

Turkish Airlines will acquire a minority stake in the Spanish airline Air Europa for 300 million euros.

The deal is expected to expand Turkish Airlines’ presence in the Latin American market and increase tourist traffic to Türkiye, The Caspian Post informs, citing Turkish media.

The company did not specify the exact size of the stake being purchased in Air Europa, but foreign media report that it is approximately 26 per cent of the shares.
