Turkish FM’s Moscow Agenda: Who’s on Meeting List?

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is set to hold a series of high-level meetings during the first day of his working visit to Moscow, including talks with senior Russian officials and representatives of Turkish business circles.

Fidan will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov for bilateral discussions. He is also expected to meet with Vladimir Medinsky, aide to the Russian president, and Igor Levitin, presidential advisor, The Caspian Post reports via TASS.

In addition to political consultations, Fidan will hold meetings with representatives of Turkish business communities operating in Russia, highlighting the economic dimension of the visit.

Earlier reports indicated that during his Moscow visit on June 16-17, Fidan is expected to reaffirm Ankara’s readiness to host new Russia-Ukraine negotiations and discuss proposals related to Black Sea security.

The agenda also includes broader bilateral relations between Türkiye and Russia, as well as key international security issues.
