Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has hosted the women’s football club Yüksekovaspor, celebrating the team’s recent promotion to the Turkish Super League after winning the First League last season.

Azerbaijani national team players Vusala Seyfaddinova, Vusala Hajiyeva, Jala Mahsimova, and Aytaj Sharifova, all key members of Yüksekovaspor, attended the reception, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

National team goalkeeper Sevinj Jafarzadeh, who recently transferred to Yüksekovaspor, was unable to join the delegation as she had only just linked up with the squad.
