Türkiye has extradited 76 people wanted by authorities as part of an international operation, including 29 individuals sought through Interpol Red Notices and 47 wanted under national warrants.

The extraditions were carried out as part of a coordinated operation led by Türkiye’s Interpol-Europol Department and the Ministry of Justice, according to TRT Haber.

The operation involved units from Türkiye’s Organized Crime Department (KOM), intelligence and anti-narcotics and cybercrime divisions, as well as the Public Security and Anti-Terrorism Departments (TEM).

Türkiye’s Interior Ministry said the extraditions were made possible through cooperation between Turkish law enforcement agencies and the relevant authorities in the countries where the wanted individuals had been hiding.

The operation targeted people who had been evading justice abroad and brought them back to Türkiye to face legal proceedings.
