Türkiye Confirms Third Missile Incursion from Iran’s Airspace

The Turkish Defence Ministry announced that NATO air defences in the eastern Mediterranean intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Iran into Turkish airspace.

In a post on X, it said it was consulting with Iran “to clarify all aspects of the incident”, The Caspian Post reports citing foreign media.

The missile, fragments of which landed near the city of Adana, was the third fired by Iran towards Turkiye since the US and Israeli war on Iran began. All have been intercepted by NATO air defences.
