Türkiye Detains Over 120 Suspects in Nationwide Operation Targeting FETÖ Network - VIDEO

Turkish authorities have detained 128 people in a series of coordinated operations across 22 provinces as part of an investigation into links with FETÖ, the organization that the Turkish government designates as a terrorist group.

Some 51 suspects have been formally arrested, while 14 others have been placed under judicial supervision. Legal proceedings against the remaining detainees are ongoing, The Caspian Post reports via the message of Türkiye's Ministry of Interior on X.

Investigators allege that the suspects were involved in activities supporting FETÖ's current organizational structure, participated in financing the network, and distributed propaganda materials through social media platforms.

The nationwide operation is part of Türkiye's continuing efforts to dismantle networks that authorities say are affiliated with FETÖ, which Ankara accuses of orchestrating the failed coup attempt in 2016. The group denies the accusation.
