Andriy Kovalenko, head of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation, has announced that Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated the village of Ternuvate in Zaporizhzhia Region.
“The Zaporizhzhia axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces have cleared Ternuvate of Russians,” Kovalenko said, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
He shared a video showing Ukrainian servicemen standing near a stele bearing the village’s name and holding the national flag, confirming that Ukrainian forces have taken control of the settlement.
Commenting on the footage, Kovalenko dismissed claims circulating in Russian sources, saying they often publish what he described as “so-called one-hour victories” online. He stressed that Ukrainian troops are present in the village and carrying out their mission, reiterating that Ternuvate is under Ukrainian control and calling on Russian forces to surrender.
