Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has set clear priorities for the delegation traveling to the US to discuss steps toward ending the war.
Zelenskyy noted that Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and head of the Ukrainian delegation, is already en route with his team, The Caspian Post informs via Ukrainian media.
“Today Rustem presented a report, and the task is clear - to quickly and substantively define the steps needed to end the war,” Zelenskyy said.
He added that Ukraine continues working constructively with the US and expects that the results of recent Geneva meetings will be refined during the visit.
“I expect our delegation’s report on the work by this Sunday. Ukraine is working for a dignified peace,” the president emphasized.
