Azerbaijani Judokas Win Two More European Bronzes

Azerbaijani athletes showcased their skill at the European Judo Championships Senior Podgorica 2025 in Montenegro, securing two bronze medals for the nation.

Zelim Tckaev and Murad Fatiyev earned podium finishes in the men’s 81kg and 92kg categories, respectively, highlighting Azerbaijan’s strong presence on the continental stage, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.

Earlier, judokas Rashid Mammadaliyev and Ahmad Yusifov grabbed bronze medals at the tournament.

Mammadaliyev secured the medal after defeating Hungary’s Daniel Szegedi in the 73kg weight class.

Yusifov bagged bronze for Azerbaijan in the men’s 60kg weight division.
