Azerbaijani Rhythmic Gymnasts Win Gold at 2025 FISU World University Games

The Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnastics team delivered a stellar performance at the 32nd FISU World University Games, held in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany, securing a gold medal in the group exercises category, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.

The Team Azerbaijan, including gymnasts Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Yelyzaveta Luzan, Darya Sorokina, and Gullu Aghalarzade, clinched the medal by picking total of 50,500 points for two events - 26,350 points for three balls and two hoops, and 24,150 points for five ribbons exercises.

The competition will run until July 27.
