Kazakhstan Dominate Liechtenstein 4-0 in 2026 World Cup Qualifier

Kazakhstan’s national football team delivered a commanding performance, defeating Liechtenstein 4-0 in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match at the Astana Arena, The Caspian Post reports.

Refereed by Poland’s Pawel Raczkowski, the home side set the tone early, breaking the deadlock in the 26th minute with a stunning long-range strike from Galymzhan Kenzhebek. Just two minutes later, Kenzhebek turned provider, assisting Bakhtiyor Zaynutdinov to double the lead with a calm finish.

Liechtenstein threatened to respond before halftime, but Alibek Kasym’s crucial clearance off the line kept Kazakhstan’s clean sheet intact. In the second half, Kenzhebek secured his brace with another impressive goal, and Kasym wrapped up the victory with the fourth goal.

This win extended Kazakhstan’s dominance over Liechtenstein, having already beaten them 2-0 away earlier in the qualifying campaign, boosting their group standing to six points.
