Hajj Trip Becomes More Affordable for Tajik People

In 2026, a Hajj pilgrimage from Tajikistan will cost 53,000 somoni ($5,698), 3,800 somoni ($408.58) less than last year.

The Tajik Committee for Religious Affairs also announced that the search for guides and accompanying staff has already begun, preparing for the upcoming pilgrimage season, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and is an annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, that every adult Muslim who is physically and financially able must undertake at least once in their lifetime.
