President Rahmon Congratulates Citizens and Diaspora on Tajikistan’s Independence Day

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has extended warm congratulations to citizens at home and compatriots abroad on the occasion of the country’s 34th Independence Day.

President Rahmon described independence and freedom as the nation’s most precious blessings, emphasizing that over the past 34 years, the Tajik people have diligently worked to build and develop the nation, The Caspian Post informs via Tajik media.

“Today, Tajikistan, alongside other developed countries, is confidently moving toward a prosperous future,” he noted.

He highlighted the country’s achievements in key strategic areas, including energy independence, overcoming communication bottlenecks, transforming Tajikistan into a transit hub, ensuring food security, and accelerating industrialization. President Rahmon stressed that these efforts have contributed to reducing poverty, improving citizens’ welfare, and fostering growth in science, education, culture, and spirituality.

Reflecting on the nation’s journey, the president noted that Tajikistan has made significant strides in foreign policy and international relations, boosting its prestige and recognition on the global stage. “Today, the world knows, recognizes, and respects Tajikistan, supporting and implementing its initiatives to address global challenges,” Rahmon said.

He concluded by wishing peace, happiness, and well-being to every Tajik citizen and their families.
