Tajikistan Expands Ties with International Water Institute

This week, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin has met with Johan Jelley, Regional Director for Research in Asia at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), to discuss expanding cooperation on water management and climate initiatives.

The talks also focused on regional projects and preparations for the 4th High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028,” set to take place in Dushanbe in May 2026, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

Muhriddin invited IWMI to support the organization and planning of this key event.
