Tajikistan and Slovenia are planning to launch joint pharmaceutical production projects in Tajikistan as the two countries move to deepen economic cooperation across several strategic sectors.
The initiative was discussed during talks between Tajik Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Akhliddin Nuriddinzoda and Slovenia’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Alenka Suhadolnik, The Caspian Post reports via Khovar.
According to Tajik officials, both sides reviewed the current state of bilateral trade and economic relations and stressed the importance of diversifying exports and expanding trade ties in the coming years.
Beyond pharmaceuticals, the discussions highlighted several promising areas for future cooperation, including hydropower, green technologies, agricultural processing, the textile industry, and information technology.
