Tajikistan, South Korea Celebrate Friendship at Culture Festival in Dushanbe

Dushanbe is set to become a vibrant hub of cultural exchange as it hosts the Tajikistan-South Korea Culture Festival 2026 on June 17-18, bringing together artists, performers, and cultural representatives from both nations.

The festival aims to strengthen bilateral ties, showcase rich traditions and artistic heritage, and deepen mutual understanding through a diverse program of performances, exhibitions, and cultural events, The Caspian Post reports via Khovar.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the unique customs, music, dance, and creative achievements of Tajikistan and South Korea, highlighting the growing friendship between the two countries.

Diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and South Korea were established on April 27, 1992. Over the past three decades, the two nations have developed strong cooperation across culture, science, education, and other key sectors.
