Top Tajik and Austrian Diplomats Discuss Bilateral, Regional, and International Issues

On August 5, 2025, in Avaza, Turkmenistan, during the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), a meeting took place between Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, and Josef Schellhorn, State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria.

According to the Tajik Foreign Ministry, during the course of the meeting, priority issues on the bilateral, regional and international agendas were discussed, including the further expansion of political, trade, economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, The Caspian Post reports citing Khovar.

The interlocutors expressed interest in continuing mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Austria in areas of mutual interest.
