Azerbaijani Ships Aid TAPI Gas Pipeline Project

Vessels from Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), part of AZCON Holding, are transporting pipes for the construction of the TAPI Gas Pipeline linking Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.

Mehman Mehdiyev, spokesman for the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company, said that the shipments are being carried out from Baku Port to Turkmenbashi Port, The Caspian Post reports via ASCO.

The operation involves ASCO’s multipurpose cargo vessels: Natavan, Rasul Rza, Garadag, Teymur Ahmadov, and Maestro Niyazi. By the end of the year, these ships are expected to deliver 11,700 pipes, supporting the TAPI pipeline’s construction and regional energy connectivity.
