Turkmen Heritage to Take Center Stage in Azerbaijan with Upcoming Culture Days

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty (People’s Council) of Turkmenistan, has announced that Turkmenistan Culture Days will be held soon in Azerbaijan.

The announcement was made during the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Gabala, Azerbaijan, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

Berdimuhamedov also emphasized ongoing collaboration to develop the shared carpet weaving traditions between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.

“We are actively working to revive the ancient art of horse breeding, particularly focusing on the Akhal-Teke and Karabakh horse breeds,” he stated. “Turkmenistan remains committed to fostering strong, high-level relations with the member countries of the OTS.”
