Turkmen President Sends Warm Wishes to UN on 80th Anniversary

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent heartfelt congratulations to UN Secretary-General António Guterres on the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, highlighting the organization’s crucial role in promoting peace, security, and sustainable development over the past eight decades.

In his message, the Turkmen leader emphasized that key UN initiatives and documents have laid the foundation for modern international relations, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

He also reaffirmed that long-term cooperation with the UN-in areas such as peacekeeping, energy, transport, environmental protection, and sustainable development-remains a priority for Turkmenistan’s foreign policy.

President Berdimuhamedov stressed that Turkmenistan will continue expanding and strengthening its multifaceted partnership with the United Nations and wished Guterres and UN staff health, happiness, and continued success.
