From June 28 to August 2, students from the International University of Humanities and Development in Turkmenistan are participating in specialized Italian language and culture courses at the prestigious University for Foreigners of Perugia, Italy.
This program, hosted at the invitation of the Italian university, marks a significant step forward in academic cooperation between the two nations, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
The University for Foreigners of Perugia, one of only two institutions in Italy exclusively focused on international students, is renowned for its rigorous academic programs and its role in promoting the Italian language and cultural heritage. The university offers both degree programs and intensive language courses with official certification.
For Turkmen students, the experience goes beyond language acquisition, providing a deep cultural immersion into Italy’s history, literature, art, cinema, lifestyle, and traditions. This enriching exposure broadens their perspectives and enhances their academic journey.
Simultaneously, Turkmen students share their own country’s rich cultural and historical legacy with their Italian counterparts, fostering meaningful cultural exchange and strengthening international dialogue.
