Turkmenistan and IAEA Collaborate on 2025-2030 Cooperation Program

Turkmenistan and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are working together to coordinate a Framework Program for cooperation for the period 2025-2029, according to the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

This was announced during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and IAEA Deputy Director General Liu Hua in Avaza, The Caspian Post reports.

"The parties discussed the coordination of the draft Country Framework Program for 2025-2029 between the Government of Turkmenistan and the International Atomic Energy Agency. Interest was expressed in signing the document in the near future," the ministry said.

The officials also discussed current programs and projects, particularly in the field of utilizing the agency's expert and technical capabilities for healthcare development in the country.
