On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly anniversary session, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov has met with Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla to discuss the current state and future prospects of Turkmenistan-Cuba relations, focusing primarily on political cooperation.
The talks also covered cooperation in diplomatic, economic, and humanitarian spheres, highlighting the longstanding friendship between the two nations, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
Both ministers also reviewed their collaboration within international organizations and stressed the importance of enhancing engagement between their foreign ministries.
Special attention was given to expanding partnerships in key sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, sports, and tourism. The diplomats expressed their shared commitment to continuing active cooperation aimed at deepening and broadening bilateral ties.
This meeting reaffirms the dedication of Turkmenistan and Cuba to fostering closer relations and advancing mutual interests on the global stage.
