The additions include a new main academic building, a dormitory, a sports complex, and a multipurpose center named “Taze Kuvvat”, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

The academic building seats 2,000 students and features 18 classrooms, 28 specialized laboratories, computer and linguistics rooms, and dedicated spaces for robotics, e-sports, and artificial intelligence. It also includes a modern library, an e-library, a creative development center, and multiple conference halls.

The newly built dormitory accommodates up to 800 students, while the sports complex offers an indoor arena and various outdoor sports fields to support physical education and wellness.

The institute is equipped with cutting-edge technology sourced from Germany, Spain, Italy, and China, providing students with hands-on learning experiences aligned with professional industry standards. Highlighting Turkmenistan’s commitment to sustainable development, the academic building’s roof is outfitted with 132 kilowatts of solar panels, ensuring eco-friendly power generation.

Government officials noted that this project underscores Turkmenistan’s strategic priorities of fostering education, advancing scientific research, and integrating sustainable energy technologies.

The inauguration coincided with Knowledge Day and the start of the new academic year, emphasizing the critical role of education in the nation’s future development.
