Turkmenistan's FM Receives Credentials of Newly-Appointed Belarusian Ambassador

Newly appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan, Stanislav Chepurny, presented copies of his credentials to Turkmenistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, The Caspian Post reports citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and expressed readiness of the Turkmen side to assist and support him in his diplomatic work.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects of developing bilateral relations in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

It was emphasized that cooperation between Turkmenistan and Belarus is developing based on reciprocal respect, equality and mutually beneficial partnership.

Special attention was paid to the collaboration between the two countries on the platforms of regional and international structures. In particular, the sides expressed readiness to continue the practice of mutual support of initiatives within the UN framework.
