Turkmenistan's Turkmenneft Boosts Oil Output by 8.6% in 2025

In 2025, specialists from Turkmenistan’s state oil and gas company Turkmenneft produced a total of 4.025 million tons of oil and gas condensate, exceeding the plan by 8.6 per cent with an additional 205,000 tons extracted.

During the same period, more than 4.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced and delivered to consumers, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

Outstanding production results were achieved by units including Goturdepenebit, Gumdagnebit, Nebitdagnebit, Gamishlyjanebit, Galkynysnebit, Keymir, and Korpeje.

Maintenance work was also significant: 437 wells were repaired instead of the planned 413, producing 292,600 tons of crude oil from additional wells-124 per cent of the target.

In total, 39 new wells were drilled in 2025, with 33 already operational, highlighting Turkmenneft’s continued focus on expanding production capacity and maintaining high performance across the country’s oil and gas sector.
