Turkmenistan, Saudi Arabia Discuss Developing Inter-Parliamentary Ties

The Turkmen-Saudi inter-parliamentary friendship group held another meeting via videoconferencing.

During the meeting, parliamentarians from Turkmenistan spoke about the main directions of the country's domestic and foreign policy, based on the principles of positive neutrality, as well as about the structure and work of the Mejlis, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkmen media.

The importance of consistent development of equal and mutually beneficial relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was emphasized.

The parties discussed issues of developing and strengthening inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries, cooperation within the framework of regional and international organizations.

Turkmen parliamentarians were informed about the Development Program of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the period up to 2030.

Mutual confidence was expressed that friendly inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries will contribute to strengthening mutually beneficial multilateral cooperation.
