A major Turkmenistan-European Union business forum titled “New Horizons for Connectivity and Sustainable Growth” will take place in Ashgabat on March 26.
The event is jointly organized by the European Union and the government of Turkmenistan in partnership with the International Trade Centre (ITC), The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
Boosting Trade and Investment Ties
The forum aims to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU, with a focus on unlocking new investment and sectoral opportunities.
Participants will discuss the priorities of the Global Gateway initiative in Turkmenistan, including transport connectivity, logistics development, energy cooperation, and sustainable growth.
High-Level Participation and Direct Business Talks
The event will bring together representatives of relevant government agencies, business communities from Turkmenistan and EU member states, as well as international financial institutions and organizations.
Special B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) meetings are planned to facilitate direct contacts, explore industry-specific projects, and advance concrete investment partnerships.
