Air Samarkand has operated its first regular flight on the Tashkent-Abu Dhabi route.
The Airbus A321 departed from Tashkent International Airport on schedule with a full load of 194 passengers, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The new seasonal route will operate on Fridays. To celebrate the inaugural flight, the airport hosted a special registration ceremony for the first passengers.
The launch of the route expands tourism and business opportunities between Uzbekistan and the UAE. Air Samarkand also plans to introduce new popular tourist destinations in 2026.
