Azerbaijani MP Siyavush Novruzov has proposed expanding defense cooperation with Pakistan and Uzbekistan through the signing of various agreements.
Speaking at a parliamentary session, Novruzov suggested using the memorandum signed between the defense ministries of Azerbaijan and Türkiye as a model, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
“The document covers military cooperation and security, mutual assistance in defense, training, logistical support, and enhancing joint operational interoperability. Similar agreements should be signed with Pakistan and Uzbekistan,” Novruzov said.
