Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan Explore Cultural Cooperation

Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Culture, held a meeting with Akif Marifli, the Director of the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Uzbekistan.

The sides discussed the cultural cooperation between the two countries, the organization of international festivals, as well as the implementation of joint projects, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.

They also discussed in detail issues related to further strengthening cultural diplomacy, expanding creative exchange programs, and implementing joint educational projects for young creators.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to consistently continue practical measures to elevate cooperation in the field of culture to a new stage, widely promote the values that unite our peoples, and strengthen Azerbaijani-Uzbek friendship.
