Jabbarov emphasized that these areas offer new economic opportunities and invited Uzbek enterprises to participate in their reconstruction and development, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

He also highlighted the growing role of the Azerbaijani-Uzbek Investment Fund, noting it as a key mechanism to support joint initiatives and deepen bilateral economic cooperation. Jabbarov credited the Organization of Turkic States for assisting to foster regional economic integration and facilitate partnerships between member states.

A major point of discussion was the “Green Energy Corridor” project, which aims to transport renewable energy from Central Asia to Europe via Azerbaijan. Jabbarov stressed Azerbaijan’s strategic role in this initiative, as well as its broader importance in transport and logistics, with the Middle Corridor and Baku International Sea Trade Port serving as vital hubs.

He further called for enhanced collaboration in digitalization, innovation, and knowledge exchange, alongside increased joint investment efforts.

"Azerbaijan places great emphasis on strengthening economic relations with Uzbekistan and is highly interested in collaboration across sectors such as transport, industrial cooperation, energy, textiles, mining, chemicals, and electrical equipment.
