Azerbaijani Servicemen Depart for Uzbekistan's Samarkand to Join Unity–2025 Military Training

A group of Azerbaijani servicemen has departed for Uzbekistan to participate in the Unity-2025 (Birlik-2025) joint regional military exercise, which will take place in the Samarkand region.

The large-scale drills bring together commando and UAV units from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, The Caspian Post informs via the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

The exercises are designed to improve the combat readiness and coordination of participating troops in counterterrorism operations, strengthen regional peace and security, and foster the exchange of tactical experience and best military practices.

The Unity-2025 joint regional exercise will continue until October 21.
