Azerbaijani, Uzbek Troops Successfully Wrap Up Joint Military Exercises

The computer-assisted joint command-staff exercise Maharat-2025 (Mastery), featuring servicemen from the Azerbaijani Army, has successfully concluded in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

During the exercise, Azerbaijani troops took part in a cultural program that included visits to key historical sites such as the monument complex of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Victory Park, and the State Museum of Glory, all of which commemorate the courage and sacrifices of the Uzbek people during World War II, The Caspian Post reports via the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

The exercise scenario required participants to plan and execute a special operation aimed at locating, engaging, and neutralizing illegal armed detachments. In addition, the servicemen conducted practical training exercises utilizing advanced modeling and simulation technologies.

All tasks outlined in the 2025 bilateral military cooperation plan between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan were successfully completed.

The exercise concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing the outstanding performance of those servicemen who distinguished themselves during Maharat-2025.
