Lemon Exports Rise Sharply in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan’s lemon exports saw a significant surge in 2025.

From January to November 2025, the country shipped 3,800 tons of lemons abroad, earning a total of $5.4 million. This represents an increase of 764 tons, or 25 per cent, compared to the same period in 2024, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Most Uzbek lemons were exported to neighboring countries, with Kazakhstan leading as the top importer at 1,827 tons. Russia followed closely with 1,740 tons, while Kyrgyzstan received 236.5 tons, Belarus 4.7 tons, and the United Arab Emirates 3.8 tons.

Smaller shipments totaling around 3.9 tons went to other international markets, reflecting Uzbekistan’s growing presence in the global citrus trade.
