Man Arrested in Tashkent for Public Indecency - PHOTO

A 32-year-old man in Tashkent has been sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest for committing indecent acts in public, according to the ruling by the Uchtepa District Criminal Court.

According to court materials, the incident occurred on January 6, when the man, who was intoxicated at the time, removed his pants in a public place, publicly exposed his genitals, shouted loudly, and used obscene language toward passersby, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

The case file states that the man later exposed himself to a woman at a bus stop and repeated the act in an underground passage near the same location, committing indecent acts on both occasions.

Despite being officially summoned by law enforcement officers on January 7 to participate in the investigation, the man failed to appear and did not comply with lawful police demands.

The court found him guilty under Part 1 of Article 41-1 (Sexual Harassment), Article 183 (Petty Hooliganism), and Part 1 of Article 194 (Failure to Comply with Lawful Demands of an Internal Affairs Officer) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As a result, the court sentenced the man to 15 days of administrative arrest and imposed a fine of five base calculation units (BRV), totaling 2.06 million soums.
