Mines Ministry Team Travels to Uzbekistan for Capacity-Building Program

A delegation of 20 technical and professional staff from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum (MoMP), led by the heads of the Mining Institute and Technical Inspection, departed on Sunday for Uzbekistan to participate in a capacity-building and professional development program, The Caspian Post reports, citing PAJHWOK.

In a statement, the MoMP said the primary objective of the visit is to tour various technical sections of standard laboratories, gain exposure to advanced laboratory equipment and methodologies, and exchange practical experience.

The ministry added that the visit is part of ongoing technical and scientific cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, with a focus on improving laboratory standards, quality control, and strengthening technical capacity in the mining sector.
