BJP Trade Cell chief Sunder Lal Aggarwal represents Punjab in a high-level Indian trade delegation to strengthen export and trade cooperation with Uzbekistan and Russia.
Sunder Lal Aggarwal, president of the BJP Trade Cell, Mohali, is representing Punjab in a high-level Indian trade delegation sent by the Government of India to Uzbekistan and Russia to enhance export and trade cooperation, The Caspian Post informs via Indian Express.
The delegation, which left India on October 10, will return on October 15 after a series of business meetings and trade fairs aimed at strengthening India’s economic partnerships.
Led by BJP Punjab panelist Gurdeep Singh Gosha, the team unfurled the Indian Tricolour upon reaching Uzbekistan, marking India’s presence with pride. The mission’s focus is to expand trade relations among India, Uzbekistan, and Russia, and to explore opportunities under a proposed India-Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) trade pact involving Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Armenia.
Calling the visit “a proud moment for Punjab,” Aggarwal said, “This delegation is not just about trade; it’s about taking Punjab’s producers and entrepreneurs to the global stage.” He reaffirmed his commitment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a strong and prosperous Punjab, adding, “If our industrial and agricultural strength reaches world markets, it will boost farmers’ income and create new jobs.”
Aggarwal also urged Punjab’s business community to share ideas for shaping a stronger export policy. “We plan to launch projects to help Mohali’s industries expand globally,” he said.
The delegation’s engagements will continue until October 15, including industrial visits, trade discussions, and networking events.
