New Shanghai–Amsterdam Freight Route Puts Uzbekistan’s Tashkent on Global Map

My Freighter, the largest private cargo airline in Central Asia, has officially launched regular freight services connecting Shanghai (PVG), Tashkent (TAS), and Amsterdam (AMS).

The inaugural flight took place in Shanghai, marking a significant expansion of the company’s global operations, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The route will operate twice weekly using a Boeing 767-300F freighter, with a total transit time of just 17 hours - enabling fast cargo delivery between Asia and Europe.

The service, developed in partnership with Air Cargo APAC, represents My Freighter’s transition to regular international cargo operations.

Tashkent is positioned as a strategic transit hub within the network, providing:

Expedited ground handling for quick cargo processing;

Flexible routing to Amsterdam, Tashkent, and CIS markets;

Specialized conditions for urgent, oversized, and hazardous goods, including lithium batteries and electronics.

Key shipment categories will include automotive parts, high-tech equipment, semiconductors, e-commerce goods, and express deliveries.

The new route strengthens Uzbekistan’s transport and logistics infrastructure and enhances its position as a crucial link in global trade corridors.
