Pakistani Manufacturers Eye Investment Opportunities in Uzbekistan’s Growing Industrial Sector

Uzbekistan is attracting fresh interest from Pakistani industry leaders as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Advisor, Alisher Shaykhov, met with Muhammad Ishaq, CEO of Moeed’s Industries, and Malik Sajjad Gul Ava, Executive Director of Sarhad Board and Chemicals, during their official visit to the country.

The discussions centered on new opportunities for joint production, deeper industrial cooperation, and investment, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

With over 30 years of experience in nutraceuticals, chemicals, paper and cardboard manufacturing, and packaging, the Pakistani companies signaled strong readiness to launch new projects in Uzbekistan.

As part of their visit, the delegation explored industrial and pharmaceutical sites across Namangan, Andijan, Khorezm, and Tashkent - showing particular enthusiasm for Uzbekistan’s potential in paper manufacturing.

By the end of the meetings, both sides agreed to move planned collaborations into practical development, form a joint working group with relevant agencies, and maintain active bilateral dialogue.
